I am telling you now, if we don’t do a job on Blackburn there will be a revolt because the protests of the Rovers lot will rub off on the Latics fans !
By the way, the banner bit was a wind up and you fell for it !!
Don’t give me the “I fell for it lark”…that’s bollox and you know it.
Of course we need to “do a job on Blackburn”…..I wrote about that earlier…Gladiatorial and all that with attitude. We will see what we will see if there is indeed a revolt……..

Well seeing as I made it up about making a banner and the fact that you mentioned “the self righteous been/done/seen it all merchants with stupid feckin banners ” I would hazard a guess that you did indeed believe me and therefore in my opinion you bit like one of Arky’s fish !! ;)

your opinion is bullsh1t.

My opinion is but a mere throwaway comment just like many on forums. I knew exactly what you were trying to say and the context of it. The thing is as is with most diatribes, I tend to switch off fairly quickly as I find them very tedious ! Micky, you wont lose me with your lexicon of crap man !

Of course you did…..as is your command of the English language as you try to pass your comment as fact yet we all know that your opinion is only your belief

You like that word diatribe…….. I suspect as you cannot hold it yourself, and you sit on your ‘refresh’ button awaiting my every comment……you must find my diatribes very tedious indeed to hold them so close……..

That is not my intention…….man! – lexicon now there is a word needing exploration

16 November 2011 at 4:46 am #74400A bit of attitude on the pitch might just be what we need.
So what kind of attitude would you like to see then? Reckless challenges, arguing with referees, falling out with team-mates, or spitting at opposing players perhaps?
Bless me Sammy for I have sinned……..
OK spitting is a total no go, however, all of the other ‘attitudes’ above have not stopped other teams getting their act together – it’s all in the team dynamic. Gladiatorial is the correct attitude – encompassing suspicion, aggression, conflict, belligerence and mind-set. We sit here on the board, and in the stands, wanting the best for out team…playing ‘beautiful’ football…scoring goals and picking up points – yet some of us want to pick a team from the local catholic boys school down the road…….FFS
Just like that spaced out idiot on another thread spouting off about the England captain – it’s total bullsh1t. Yes you lot with your morals and you high horses sat in ivory towers….you lot who have never ‘erred’ in life (and that covers everything from nicking, sh@ggin someones missus, smoking illegal stuff, lying and thieving (the worst in my book), fraud (on the benefits…my taxes), violence (in the stands and on King Street)…..yes all you lot.
If you think that Terry et al are the root cause of all the problems our kids are giving us now then people need to take a good look at themselves.
Lowtonlatic is quite right……more attitude on the pitch, more aggression, more pushing the boundaries
let’s kick Blackburn off the park on Saturday and take the points –
– end of.
Micky i must take issue with you on this post, these ivory towers you talk about, are they the same as the ivory tower you claim i inhabit ?
well i am very disapointed, it seems they are much bigger than mine because you say they can get get a big horse up them, sorry high horse, i can barely swing a cat in the one you atttributed to me.
One last thing these towers seem to be spoiling your general outlook on life and young peoples contribution to the same, would it be better if we just bit the bullet and demolished the dam things altogether ?

I think you will find that it was indeed a fact that you mentioned the self righteous etc etc. I stated this as being fact and not an opinion. It was my belief ( not opinion ) that you were referring to me when your immediate riposte mentioned idiots with banners !
As for the word diatribe, I mentioned it twice both with the same reference to yourself.
Lastly, are you the incarnation of Oscar Wilde because you talk like him. Lets just hope you don’t emulate his bedroom activities !!17 November 2011 at 12:40 am #74419let’s kick Blackburn off the park on SaturdayThat sounds like a good idea! I wonder if the referee will buy into that one?

 Opinion: “a thought or belief about something or someone”
…….am I an incarnation of Oscar Wilde? Don’t be absurd that’s just superstitious nonsense (just my belief of course – or is that my opinion?)
Sammy……..I believe the ref for Saturday is Andre Marriner. They say everyone has a price –

Micky, try reading this. I read something very similar from a text book when I was doing a philosophy essay back in the day !

I thought I had said as much when you declared you were off to your pit t’other night……..”always a pleasure” were the words I used.
I do……..as you rightly know (and like someone else on here) use some words and phrases for effect and 80% of the time it gets the bite/response I’m after…..(I’ve said this before) – I suppose old habits die hard.
Anyway, regardless of your views and opinions ;) you are a latics lad through and through and that’ll do for me.
I do enjoy the craic…….long may it contine.
