Nice to meet you too, at last. I hope in reality, and what I said to you, dispelled some of the ‘myths’. :)

I thought we played well yesterday, and we started much the better side…..and then they go up and grab a goal, pretty much out of nothing. Part of me thought that would be it, but the lads dug in and got a deserved point. I thought Liverpool would sneak a late winner, which they wouldn’t have deserved.

I was a bit concerned how tired some of our lads looked towards the end though (Is Anfield a big pitch?). But well in for a good performance and a welcome ‘bonus’ point.

I was in town visiting some really smart boozers, not the Mathew Street lot, I’m talking up towards the Cathedrals. ‘The Philharmonic’ and ‘The Belvedere’ among them. Some quality pints, Italian beer called ‘Birra Moretti’, and ended up on some American bourbon stuff called ‘Evan Williams Honey Reserve’. Really nice stuff. Had a bottle inside Anfield, and sure enough, 20 mins in the game I needed a wee. Held on til half time, rather than disturb people.

Really good day. My mates a Liverpool fan and he was in the Kop. I saw his picture in todays People, just behind the goal as Gohouri scored. Looked fed up. :lol:
