Especially when they were playing time-wasting tatics all match.
TBH though, i actually thought it was a foul on the keeper & thought the ref was going to blow for it. Not complaining though. Like one guy said on leaving the stadium, he would take wins like that every week. Not sure i would, but i get where he is coming from.deserved that we totally dominated from start to finish despite their negative spoiling tactics.
Crap refereeing also at least two good penalty shouts ignored in the first half.the lads deserve credit for keeping their heads in the face of those spoiling tactics.
Brilliant ending and maybe a game we will look back on as a defining one come May.When their keeper was fouled before the goal I think even the ref thought , sod it you deserve that.

Another late goal though pulls us out of it. Take away late goals this season and we nowhere near fifth. Won’t keep happening! Hope I’m wrong but luck been well and truly on our side this season and some very favorable refereeing decisions!

Ask Man Utd if they felt lucky when it kept happening to them.
A win is a win, regardless how or when it comes.
But at least the side keep on battling to the end and the manager is prepared to change things when plan A hasn’t worked.

Think that most of us thought that their Goalie was fouled; but watching the footage on SKY, nobody touches him and he makes a complete dogs breakfast of catching the ball. Thank you for the added time & three points !

As donnys page stated, the team battled to the very end, which to be fair, it has done all season & is why i am really warming to this team, unlike previous teams we have had the past few seasons. Also, i like how our manager tries a plan B when plan A hasnt worked & doesn’t leave it too late to change it – again unlike predecessors.
Was it the great Bill Shankley who said it only takes a minute to score a goal. The best thing about scoring late is that its hard for the opposition to hit back.
Never complain about scoring late, we’ve been done so many times in the last five minutes, including our first game in the Premier league. As Caldwell points out, its a sign of doggedness, the will to win and good fitness levels, nothing to be negative about at all. :cheer:
