Just watched the highlights on MOTD and seen that BOTH their goals were offside.
Sod goal line technology, when oh when oh when will replays for “goals” be introduced? If the ball goes in the net there is way more than enough time before the restart to check it was a valid goal.
When major financial implications rest on such delicate decisions how can the “modern” game keep operating under these archaic luddite policies??
FA, UEFA, FIFA, BLATTER: it’s the 21st f@cking century – sort it out!!!
Conspiracy theorists may conclude rather differently. Have seen it too many times now to believe its a coincidence. Even the Sunday Telegraph concludes similarly:
Lets hope we can take some of our anger and frustration out on Wednesday with a memorable victory. We can still do this and the players look ready to fight to the death!
Bigroy – good article that…until the pompous final line about Championship fixtures!
Gordon – the last thing we need is more middle aged “officials” on the pitch, trying to keep up with players less than half their age, limited by human error and swayed by the home team and home crowd.

Jonathan Liew – unofficial defender of Wigan. Make that man an honorary club member.
why not two linesmen per side , both flags up ,offside , 0 or 1 flag up onside .
And so yesterday if there had been 2 linesmen there would only be one flag raised had the extra linesman decided it was offside and so therefore the decision in your view would be Onside !!
Redface and his theme park football brand would a few points worse off if video refs were in operation eh?
Dont see he or his ilk shouting and protesting for them do we ?
I wonder why?

I can see him shouting and bawling if the pitch gets cut up after the Rugby game tomorrow especially if we sneak a win

Fair point, and the rain is forecast to be constant tomorrow.
However, a poor pitch will be just as big a disadvantage to us as it will to United.
I actually think that the fact that United have all but won the title today is the best thing we have going for us. Maybe, just maybe, they won’t have that usual level of intensity.

I dreamt that you’d forgotten your password but here we are again, unfortunately.
