Fair enough, IF people read the article.
Now then, here’s what really happens.
Regulars and non-regulars who do NOT read the article/ press/etc will turn up as usual at 2.15-2.45 expecting to park up behind the east stand………………..”er sorry mate it’s closed, can’t you see the other 500 and odd cars going in the opposite direction?”” ok then, where do I park?”
” try and find somewhere,………..like the hundreds of other cars, mind you pal, there won’t be many places left now and btw all the side roads are iced up Good luck pal!!!”
Fookin chaos looms. No doubt about it.

There are many grounds around the country with clubs that get attendances far in excess than us who don’t have any car parks at all.
Its just be a matter of turning up early or walking a bit further than usual, but as you say people might not read the article, and people have got increasingly lazy.8 January 2010 at 12:16 am #17498Fair enough, IF people read the article.

As long as they don’t nick our spec outside the Brick, we’ll be reet,
8 January 2010 at 2:15 am #17527Am shocked that Arky hasn’t latched onto this and ventured into the home game market. There must be a park ‘n ride opportunity somewhere.

8 January 2010 at 9:00 pm #17605Surely the council will have gritted near the railway bridge (behind the brick). It was like March of the Penguins against Blackburrrn RRRRoverrrs.

8 January 2010 at 11:14 pm #17629I was at the ground at 4 o’clock this afternoon and it was nowhere near as dangerous as it was for the Blackburn match.
