Must be a Police thing.25 April 2013 at 5:19 pm #110875Your link doesn’t work but I’ve been on avfc.co.uk & assume you mean that they have only been given 3000 tickets.
Very odd if that is the case & can only assume that it is coz there is likely to be so much riding on the game that a) the fuzz want as few Villa fans there as possible & b) that the fuzz want to be able to put enough of a barrier between the bottom row of Villa fans & the pitch perimeter to avoid a repeat of what happened against Wolves last season25 April 2013 at 6:11 pm #110882http://www.avfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10265~3155714,00.html
25 April 2013 at 6:12 pm #110883(To post addresses that contain non-alphabetical symbols like the ~ here, you need to go to “insert link” (the globe icon above with a chain), paste the URL and then give a label (eg Villa given 3,000 tickets). Then click insert to put it in the comments section)

25 April 2013 at 8:17 pm #110890I think this is a ploy from the club to keep them as quiet as possible
As it could be win or bust for both of us we might be trying to give us a small edge
Or maybe im overthinking again26 April 2013 at 12:08 am #110906Anonymous
Rumours that a lot of Birmingham fans are coming up, in the hope that Villa go down.
The area outside the stadium could be a Brummy battleground.
26 April 2013 at 12:17 am #110907There’ll be netting all around the North Stand in an attempt to keep them off the pitch and to keep us and them as far apart as possible.
Looks like I’m on the 9.30am flight up from Heathrow anyway. Don’t fancy missing this.
26 April 2013 at 1:21 am #110918Why on Earth should we let them have a big vocal support? Give the minimum required.

so we could have a theoretical sell out at 22k for such a critical game. will be laughing stock again. just as bad as the rugby with thier ridiculous unallocated N and S stand seating policy which leaves a max capacity of 23k.

26 April 2013 at 3:56 am #110961Why on Earth should we let them have a big vocal support? Give the minimum required.Agreed. Is 3000 the minimum as even that sounds high.

How many times have we seen a full away end roar their side on to victory?
I bet plenty come without tickets though.
