16 March 2013 at 10:37 pm #105394Well those results could have gone better.
Can still see anothert side like Stoke getting dragged into it but the reality is we need 40 points and the other results don’t really matter.
But 40 looking a big ask!
On the subject of Stoke would rather get relegated watching our style of play than the dross Pulis delivers.
+1
17 March 2013 at 12:46 am #105400think id be far happier being a villa and southampton fan tonight
cant see us beating newcastle
so we can concentrate on getting to a cup final as the league is getting too hard for the likes of us
harsh i know but trueHome victory all day long.
Enjoy your football this is what is wrong with football today where the prem is the be all and end all.Pressure is on Newcastle who may be more nervous than us and we owe them for that debacle last December.17 March 2013 at 4:59 am #105418I’m actually thinking a villa win will be the best option, even though it will put them 6 points clear of us.
2 reasons, a draw puts QPR above us on GD, so that leaves us next to bottom if Utd beat reading at tea time. That’s not the best position to be in going into the Newcastle game.
Secondly this is a home game for Villa so I’d sooner um get a result at home than QPR getting owt away.
Not being funny fatboy but being in the bottom 3 isn’t the best place to be before playing any game. It doesn’t matter where about in that bottom 3. But to have a team be 6 points ahead rather that 4 is insane. Take your prestricption ffs (smiley face thingy)[/quote]
Not being funny broth brain, but QPR and Reading are still below us, a win tomoz puts us 3 nurps behind Villa. Our next game is Norwich at home Villa’s next game is Liverpool, but still have to come to the DW.
Look at the fixtures and not just today’s game you fekin thick wazzuk! B)From Matlock to ManU

so we can concentrate on getting to a cup final as the league is getting too hard for the likes of usI really don’t understand your logic here.
Are you genuinely suggesting that the players as they run out on the pitch today are thinking “don’t think I’ll bother today. This is getting too hard. I’ll save my energy for the Cup game at Wembley – because Roberto’s going to pick me for sure”?
Is that REALLY what you’re saying?
17 March 2013 at 2:28 pm #105423Villa are naive as a squad to probably think they are safe already and didn’t Blackburn have As similar point gap at a similar stage last season?
They had a degree of good fortune yesterday and have some hard games coming up so it isn’t over by a long chalk.
Villas defence looks awful again yesterday and i am going to be bold here and say we will beat them and QPR in those six point games coming up.In a weird way we have some pressure off because they will think they are going to be safe and that can take some intensity away from their play -let’s not beat about the bush Villa are a bad side and we slaughtered them at their place.
Just a little comment about our rubbish home form-is it wise to have the players rock up to Wrightington hotel on a Saturday night? I saw some of the arriving at 7pmlast night when I came out of the gym there when the game kicks off at 4pm tomorrow?.Surely they can be trusted?
Surely it would be better to let them stay at home and report in first thing rather than loll around a hotel getting tense and nervous-just a thought but it makes you wonder doesn’t it?17 March 2013 at 2:34 pm #105424cant see us beating newcastle

i think that playing in the semi (& hopefully the final) might work in our favour. Surely the players will play out of their skins to get automatically picked for those two big games.
17 March 2013 at 2:47 pm #105426quite easy really garswood
dont think we will beat newcastle today ,and we will be six points adrift, competing in this league is getting harder financially and a club with no backer to strengthen the club like most others can is like pissing in the wind
selling the the cream and replacing with sour milk finally catches up
ok great result against everton, lets see what happens today and against norwich who looked better on the day at theirs
oh and now awaits a reply from mrs grey and co has if i give a fook about them :P17 March 2013 at 3:41 pm #105428Aye. But its tedious to read your constant nonsense whenever there’s a chance to stick the boot into the club or to see ya pop up with a negative comment. We ain’t even played today and you’re at it. This club has grown through positivity and loyal supporters and our loyal Manager getting behind the team. We are about to enter possibly the most exciting period in our history of our beloved club. FFS BELIEVE!Well said Roy!
Bloody hell we haven’t played yet and it’s six points adrift this and six points adrift that.
let’s take the effing roof off today and celebrate our recent success17 March 2013 at 5:08 pm #105441Aye. 17 March 2013 at 11:27 pm #105466Come on then Bickymon. Where are ya tonight? Another toothless performance where we were blatantly out of our depth was it? Bobby not up to it? Bet your devastated after that. Funny how these so called ‘fans’ never sing our praises when we show fight like that. Bring on Norwich!
