I remember two seasons ago a couple of City fans were sat in front of me in the West Stand.
They had used a mate and his lads season tickets due to them being on holiday. I was chatting to them about their team and they pointed this Weiss lad out on the bench.
They said he had a really bright future and was on £40k a week at the age of 18 or so. His dad was the manager of the Slovakian national team, not sure if he still is.I can’t help thinking that the young Polish lad Thomas Cwyska should not have been released and this mon reminds me of him. :scared-eek:

The pilluk of a manager slated the boy in public and was made to look the biggest clown ever to put a managers jacket on for that naive debacle.
The boy has made 31 appearances for Derby since joining in 2010 despite several injury problems. Doesn’t sound like he’s struggling to me nor to the derby fans have a browse around their forums.

What a journey!I’m not saying that I thought Nigel Clough was right to do what he did, although he did state in his rant that it was far from his first similar mistake.
However since the start of 2011, Cwyka has made the starting line up just 3 times & that isn’t coz of injury because up to the end of last season he made the bench for all of the other games.
So far this season he hasn’t even made the bench (possibly because of injury I don’t know).
None of the above would indicate to me that Bobby made a mistake in letting him goCould be a really good signing. Right Winger? From what I recall, he always seemed quite a reasonable player to me. Wouldn’t be disappointed if we signed him but he’s not exactly a “get out the tissues and crack one off” type of signing is he?

We dont really sign the sort of players to have solid reputations / proven ability to perform though do we….

Got a similar feeling about him. Seems like the typical latics signing. Young, promising, unproven in this league. Not exactly gonna get him on the back of my top.
