            Agree. But we need another option and I think we may need to spend. Was we too quick to get shut of Gilks?

              Obvious answer. Yes we were too quick to get shut of Gilks but none of us know anything at all about why he really was off-loaded no matter what we are fed by the club and press.

                Couldn’t believe we got rid of Gilkes. No frills, safe hands good old fashioned keeper that gave our defence some confidence.

                  This story has more twists than the big un at Blackpool. Pompey have signed Spurs goalkeeper and Walton has signed a new 4 year deal at Brighton. Is this what has been holding up him going out on loan waiting on a new contract?. Pompey now sorted so if he is about to be loaned out surely he is finally coming to the DW. I don’t really want a loanee in goal again but it is better than having no keeper at all signing.

                            Lavercombe can claim lower league experience with Torquay and he is our player.

                                Apparently he isn’t on one of these if fit he must play deals. Confirmed by Paul Kendrick
