Due to an unexpected turn of events, I will now be watching the England game on Sunday in a pub in Ayrshire.
I have already memorised every detail about the battle Bannockburn and the 77 Scottish win at Wembley, and I’m presently searching the web for anti-England songs so I can join in with them when they start.
The question is, does anyone have anything I could use to make my skin look whiter and more unhealthy, a low quality novelty kilt and a Jimmy hat complete with ginger hair attachments so that I can simply merge in with the locals unnoticed and not get done over? I can pay in cash (Scottish notes only).
My suggestion……. Stay in your room & watch it. You’ll be safe then. Why not go the whole hog & watch it an Irish pub?? :lol: :lol:

I think your accent could be a bit of a giveaway Mr Walker, you could always just get blind drunk before you go out and then you’ll blend in nicely. Nothing like a stereotype ;)
Spare a thought for me, who has to watch it in a pub surrounded by squareheads. I’d take Scotland everytime. Sunday is going to be orrible.

I’ll be in Saltcoats, but to be honest, I know quite a few of the people who’ll I’ll be watching the game with, and I’ve already had a bit of stick from them over England’s first two games. Paisley, now that’s a different prospect altogether. It makes Bellshill or Hamilton look like Beverly Hills!

Ah, good old Buckfast. Have never tried the stuff myself, but have heard it’s absolutely revolting stuff.
Here’s a quality article. Buckfast bottles mentioned 5000 times in crime reports in the last three years.
