I was sat in the normal place in the East End, and probably reflecting on the blackburn game I just felt there was no atmosphere behind the lads. We had a more than average attendance probably due to all the united fans in our end, in front of me couldnt even hide there shirts :( We couldnt get the motivation to cheer to team on, if you think back to blackburn we were all stood up and shouting pleading and praying and the team got behind that no end. Ali throughout was jumping up and down at the fans. At this game he couldnt even look at the stands.

Regardless of the manager squad or formation I dont want to see the team go back into the champ, but without the support of the supporters I cant see how we can progress.

Just my reflection on todays game on a non performance basis.

there were more than enough “watcha’s” in the stands!

My point is that at several points in the second half I could hear the players shouting to each other and surely the fans should make more noise than the players!!!!

I tried my best as did the people in our row, but what was worst is that come 80mins all the 3/4 of the stands emptied.

Another way to look at our position in the league is to think of it this way. We have 12 games remaining and these might be our last in the prem lets go out with a bang and see what happens from there. If every supporter just shouts wigan etc and gets behind the team through the game who knows what might happen. It just feels like a shame for our last games everyone sit there and boo and moan. We have all paid for our tickets to see wigan lets let them know why we paid.

For the remaining games me and the kids will have the mega phone out and shouting singing and all in all having a good time watching the team we love.
