Just got back.
The 20.35 from Piccadilly.
Interesting journey back.Kirsty learned a whole new vocabulary.
Fantastic performance today.Much better than Wembley.
What a great battling 2nd half performance that was. :cheer: :cheer:
Good decision to delay your journey back. Piccadilly Station at 7 o’clock was like an evacuation zone.[/quote]
It was bad enough at 20.35.The two carriage cattle truck to Southport. No one could get on until it emptied at Wigan.
My jacket stank of beer when I got home and I hadn’t had a single pint !!!
Two glasses of Merlot at TGI Fridays for me !!!!!

Jammy sod. ;)
Luckily we got a seat !!!!
10 March 2014 at 12:22 pm #128422City have strengthened considerably since last season and have arguably a much stronger squad than last season.
We on the other hand have cut back drastically on last season, wages wise, and on paper have a weaker team, but overall we may have a stronger squad of players.
What we have regained under Rosler though is the belief that we can beat anyone, the whole squad works their bollocks off for each and we have learned how to defend and soak up pressure.
Overall I tend to agree with you though, this was probably a bigger upset than the victory in May, and the prize again is another trip to Wembley, the home of football and of Wigan Athletic.Cracking performance and stresfull to watch….. loved every minute of it.
Reminded me of the Arsenal game in the prem a few years back at their place, the 2-1 game when we went 2 up dead early on.
Boyce, what a man.
10 March 2014 at 12:35 pm #128423Is Arsenal game on Sunday at 3. Seems to.suggest that on BBC fixtures. So is that he case ? Sunday at 3 ? just looking at some digs
10 March 2014 at 1:08 pm #128425The dates and times haven’t been announced yet.
These were the arrangements last year;
Millwall v Wigan Athletic – Saturday 13 April at 5.15pm, live on ESPN.
Manchester City v Chelsea – Sunday 14 April at 4pm, live on ITV1.
10 March 2014 at 1:35 pm #128426Given that we are playing arsenal, i have a sneaky feeling that itv will get our game as its the bigger team plus the chance of biggest cup upset so therefore our game might be on sunday. Hull v sheff utd is the equivalent of ourselves v millwall last season & i think bt sport will get that one.
10 March 2014 at 1:53 pm #128429Your possibly right with that one , Sunday looks the more likely.
We’ll here it first here ;-

Hull v sheff utd is the equivalent of ourselves v millwall last season & i think bt sport will get that one.Yep my thinking so I’ve just begged the 14th off with my boss as the leave chart for that week was in the red.
I have an understanding boss though !! :cheer:
10 March 2014 at 4:43 pm #128438Sky have Liverpool v Manchester City at 14.05 and Swansea v Chelsea at 16:10 on the Sunday so i would guess ITV would not want to clash with those and therefore put our game on the Saturday teatime – when there is no live Premier League game that day.

As others have said, looks more like a Sunday KO for us , ITV would be mugs to miss out on us knocking Arsenal out ;)

10 March 2014 at 10:24 pm #128457Apologies if this has already been posted elsewhere but in this morning’s Daily Mail – do it must be right – our game is 3pm on Sunday.
10 March 2014 at 10:56 pm #128460If Arsenal gets dumped out of the champions league tomorrow then I suspect we’ll play on the Saturday, the Champs league quarters is on the 8/9 April, I seem to remember that’s why we had to wait last season if Chelsea weren’t in the quarters then the Chelsea City game would of been on the Saturday.
