Usually stick up for Gomez, thought today was one of his worst performances. Obviously not counting the perfect hat trick.
That’s why Mighty Aff’s comments (other thread) are worth disregarding.
He was miles away from the stadium and therefore has no idea how much stick Gomez was getting until he single-handedly won the game and became the fan’s darling.

And I agree. Apart from the match-winning hat trick, Gomez was pretty woeful today.
