Never at the history of our club has a managers tactics more justified the statement but sticking everyone behind the ball playing no striker, hoping to gat to full time without conceeding is like watching paint dry. Watched Blackburn ans they lost too but a cracking game and at least they tried to win the game rather go down that way.

If we’re going to lose, at least give it a real go; if the opposition does better than us on the day then so be it; at least we’ve seen a cracking game. One of the reasons I suggested a bonus point for scoring 3 goals ;)
Shutting up shop is ok (sometimes) away from home, but we’ve got to go for it at home.
I was quite hopeful when Yootha was appointed. Given his workings with the ManUre Youth, where attacking football is supposedly the rule, I thought he would really go for it here. Oh dear.
God alone knows what’s going on behind the scenes, but if Yootha as it seems, doesn’t rate Grigg, Le Fondre, Davies et al and goes to Sharpe asking for money for a new striker in January, why should Dave put his hand in his pocket?

Funny enough for some strange reason Rovers played with two up top and even more unbelievable Nobbers played with two up top despite having two strikers banned for fighting last week.Good to see Nob End fined those idiots and the fine money has gone to reimburse their fans who travelled.

Look Newcastle should beat us but have a go ffs. Can’t watch a team defend for 90 mins that’s not what I pay my money for.
If Yootha does this he will be finding out quickly what the fans think about it. Yes we do know his reasons but would he have done this with his Manure kids???
