Class act. Head and shoulders above any England player in that first half. Lots of huff and puff and dominance but not much else from the side though despite what the panel spout on tv. Question though, Leicester win the greed league but no Leicester players playing. Have they no English players???

First half Rooney was great. Didn’t watch second half. Couldn’t be arsed so watched Freddy Flintoff in his chippy van touring Northumberland which was much more entertaining than watching our overrated , underworked, over hyped league of greed failures. Why the frig the Fleetwood Mon doesn’t start is beyond belief. Shit side. Shit performance and fucking shit result against a depleted Russian side.

The only one at fault was Woy and his negative bent. Russia were terrible and there to be taken apart so after we scored he brought on Milner to keep what we had instead of going for the jugular. Had he brought on Vardy in tandem with Kane they would not have been able to get near our goal let alone score. Russia were so bad it feels like we lost the game especially as we had bossed it all night. I thought the two wing backs played well along with Roo.
In thought England played very well. They did almost everything right apart from score.
Had some decent chances, and could easily have been 2 or 3 nil up.
I don’t think you can blame the manager, and I think nine times out of ten they’d have dealt with that ball into the box for the Russian goal.
Plus, I think Hart’s positioning was a bit suspect.
If they play like that again on Thursday they’ll be fine.
I thought we played well, one of the better games for a while. But Hodgson is poor tactically and between him and our defence i suspect they will cost us this tournament.
Kane up front on his own & taking all the set pieces? Probably why we couldn’t finish. Numerous times he was out wide as well and the media say he had a poor game!?
Too many midfielders in the starting 11 that have had poor seasons but yet started. Another one came on as sub who aint played all season? Vardy must be gutted.
