Another game where we didn’t take our chances and conceded some pish poor goals. We seem to enjoy playing from behind the 8 ball for some reason but aren’t good enough to get out from behind it.
We’re creating plenty in terms of shots/crosses but aren’t putting anything on target. We had 4 or 5 efforts 2nd half that really should be troubling the keeper instead of sailing over/wide.
We should employ a shooting coach. I’ve better shooting at an under 8’s Sunday league game. Do they not practise it in training ???, ffs.
Granted, we were the better side in the second half but not been able to put chances away is our achilles heel.MacManaman looked good when he came on but, Garner in place of Grigg in the starting 11 ?. I can only think Grigg is carrying a knock, if not Cook needs his heading seeing to.
Cook is not a bad manager its a simple case of levels and what worked well in League One and Two for Cook isnt working in the Championship for him.
Losing is one thing, losing and not scoring is another. Losing to the better sides ain’t a problem if your beating the sides in and around you at the bottom something were not doing.

Was we really the better team? Did we actually create good chances? We go a goal behind so teams happy to conceed possession. We create half chances certainly don’t build any serious pressure and force tbe keeper to make anything but standard saves. Same every week I’m afraid.
Sides always look comfortable because we don’t make the most of our chancesNail on the head, we looked ok in the 2nd half but when their keepers not tested you won’t win games.
I’m sorry but it’s time for Cook to go, the rot had truly taken hold, we need a change
Not exactly Cooks fault if the players are missing simple chances though is it? If we werent creating those chances then yeah ok, but we are creating them we are just missing them.
