No, not being funny. Just wondering, that’s all.
We are in absolute s h i t street and to be honest, I really think that about 85% of our support now realises it.
Shipping goals all over the shop, no midfield of note, in fact we’ve sold ALL of last seasons midfield (since January) and we have nothing up front.
Doesn’t paint a good picture. Yes, I know it’s repetitive, keeping moaning about it. But perhaps some of us feel that the club can act to change things, but won’t do?
I’m a Roberto Martinez fan. I WANT him to do well. I WANT him to get us a mid table finish, if not higher. But if he or Whelan actually thinks that this team is good enough, then they seriously, seriously, have it wrong.
And yes, in all honesty given the right funds, I do think I could do a better job of bringing players in. (Don’t we all, though?) But that’s the problem, isn’t it? With Whelan’s ways, someone like Harry Redknapp would have NO CHANCE.
In all honesty, Notts County have been trying to sign Benjani all day. Say’s it all for us, doesn’t it? The ‘big hope’ of our possible signings today, is Ferrie Bodde, a CHAMPIONSHIP player………and we’ve been knocked back.
