The club needs to look at a couple of things:
Closing the South last night must have been difficult for the players. I would rather see the team playing towards a full stand in the second half. Obviously we can’t shut the East because it’s on TV, but why not shut most of the West or and put people in the South.
The pay on the gate/ticket lark did not work. We are trying to attract more fans, yet people were queuing outside as the game kicked off.

They will not shut any of the west because that is where people want to sit to get a better view of the game. I for one would be p1ssed off if i couldn’t get into the West/East stand and had to sit in the sh1tty ‘behind the nets’ stand.

I went in the East Stand last night and didn’t quue at all, not even for a pint before kick off.
I think you are just trying to find something to moan about because we didn’t lose.I’ll have to back Piemon up here. I was queing up for 15mins waiting to get in. Missed the Kick off.
They run out of tickets on all the east stand turnstiles.
One steward/club official had the cheek to tell us “You should have bought tickets in advance”
To which he was quickly shot down by an irate fan “You shouldn’t F$%kin advertise it as pay on the gate then!!”

the exact same thing happened in the notts county fa cup replay last season – the whole club is riddled with inept management.

My attendance last night was all dependent on the time i got in from work. Knowing it was pay on the gate i decided to go down.
It would be an idea for the people on the turnstiles to ask for more tickets when they are down to the last 50 instead of waiting till they had sold the last one.
It was a repeat of the Notts County game last season. The exact same thing happened.
Personally, if i were the club, I’d make it ticket only. People have now twigged that they can pay on the gate and so won’t be @rsed to buy in advance. If they have no other option…
Agree with the bit about not waiting until the last ticket has gone before replenishing stocks but we don’t exactly employ/pay brain surgeons to do this job, I expect.
