Makes a change but genuine “good luck to him”
Yeah, best of luck to him. Though I was initially peeved that they’d chose our game for his first Premiership game back. It couldn’t be Chelsea or United, could it? :roll:
Not that I’m insinuating their may be a problem. I’m not.
I hope he has a good game, and that the fans of both us and ‘Pool give him a round of applause. It’s been a bloody hard year for him, and his wife, who have both come through cancer.
Beforehand, he was arguably our top ref. Maybe he can get back to that top level.
