It looks like we are back up and running, who is going to be the frst to slag us us off after that excellent second half performance?
Our season started yesterday, it’s onwards and upwards from now on.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere at the end; and I think that would have an uplifting effect on the players. Still can’t believe them goons that leave the ground with 85 mins on the clock !
I know, i can’t fathom people leaving at 85 mins. now ok say we are loosing 4-0 or something then fine, but with 5 mins + stoppage time to go, in a very tight game which could go either way to leave is just moronic. they got there commupance by missing the end :)
I have a phobia about leaving early.
Back at Springy when I was a lad my dad always got us there 5 minutes after kick off and we always left 5 minutes before the end. His argument was always ‘to beat the traffic’. What traffic!?! We had a 5 minute jog upto John Fisher school and then a 10 minute drive to Ince.
Countless times we heard a roar (well at least a cheer) as we legged it to the car and could rarely work out who had actually scored. No radio in the car and so always had to wait for the Football Pink to come out to discover the result of game I’d actually been to!
Now I get to games at least an hour before kick off and am usually one of the last to leave. My old man makes his own way there and back.
