Well done lads more or less promoted with games to spare.
Thank you Mr Sharpe for delivering what you promised.
Onwards to the title.
Oh yeah and a massive thanks to those amazing fans who have travelled in numbers. Your support and belief must have been heartwarming to Gary and his squad. You lot are a credit to WAFC. Well done.Surely we can now go into the last 2 games and relax and enjoy. Hopefully results next week mean that we relegate the hateful donkey lashers. Well done to all especially Gary Caldwell, promotion in your first season as boss is amazing.
P.S I want to apologise now in case I post some rubbish or offend someone later as I will not be in charge of all my faculties owing to quaffing many units of alcohol in celebration and appreciation of Mr Caldwell,s and the lads efforts this season :lol:

I reckon promotion officially will come on Tuesday night without us having to kick a ball with Walsall not beating Shrewsbury.
That’s how we won promotion last time to the Championship when Bristol City I think drew with Cardiff (or Crewe cant remember
)And so the miracle journey to the Premier League began. The impossible happened staying there for 8 seasons and as for winning the FA Cup, well, send for the men in white coats for anyone who predicted that :lol:
We were managed at the time by an ex player when the journey started….you never know :woohoo:

Ste, bit disappointed that you hate the Tangerines so much. Could understand if it were Knob End or the Cuckoo Eggs. I really sympathise with Blackpool fans at the moment; having their club dragged down by the owners. At least our owners are passionate Tics men. RIP Blackpool; after we beat you next week !

Here Here Lostock…What is happening at Blackpool is a disgrace. Every proper football fan should be behind the Blackpool fans in their fight to save their club. We’ve had our fair share of DODGY Chairmen..
Hello chaps remember me. As you know i haven’t been bothering with football for about 6 or 7 years properly however thought i would just log in and congratulate Caldwell on a fantastic job well done. I think the Latics will be a safe mid table shout next season or even play-off contenders again. What Caldwell has learned this season is going to be hugely advantageous next season.
Here Here Lostock…What is happening at Blackpool is a disgrace. Every proper football fan should be behind the Blackpool fans in their fight to save their club. We’ve had our fair share of DODGY Chairmen..I didn’t hear the same being said when Davies was butchering Bolton. Like everyone else I despise Oyston and every other owner who shows no respect to the club and its fans but I have had a long term dislike for Blackpool and I want us to win the title there next week while sending them down.
Probably the greatest most satisfying promotion in our history given the chaos and unrest of last season.
The manager and the back room team as well as the young chairman deserve great credit in getting the club stabilised and then providing the loyal 8000 supporters with a season to remember .
A bit of prudent team strengthening from our new scouting network and who knows what this exciting young team can achieve going forward.
In some respects I will miss this division with the honesty shown by the majority of the players and the good standard of technical ability that was far better than when we last graced this division 12 years ago.
Well done to all concerned in getting this great club back in the news for the right reasons rather than the wrong ones !

Bloody fantastic Wigan !!!!I share all your sentiments vince about the division, as i for one will miss it. I have enjoyed football played at a good, honest level. But onwards & upwards.
One thing i wont miss is the officials, refs and linesmen are bobbins.
I for one will be glad to see the back of League One!

Eddie Davies did not butcher Bolton. He put in about 150 million quid and more or less gave the club away including ground, academy and hotel for free and wrote off the debt they owed him. Bolton fans should forever show their gratitude to Davies as without him they would have had no premier league, no Europe and no stadium, academy or club.
