where you all off too
benidorm for me a change from mallorca ;)10 February 2014 at 3:44 pm #127101I spent a week in Aberystwyth last year, staying in a sea-front hotel.
The weather was hot, not a cloud in the sky. We were planning to go back this year.
11 February 2014 at 4:00 am #127138Well living on Riverside in Southport everyday is like a holiday
11 February 2014 at 10:39 pm #127178I also know Dartmoor and Dawlish quite well, and Porthleven too.
The power of the sea is fantastic but frightening.
12 February 2014 at 2:49 am #127191We’ve been to St Ives in Cornwall for the last few years, but last time, although we had a great time the weather wasn’t the best.
I fancy somewhere with guaranteed sunshine this year, I’m sick of the weather here. Nothing booked yet though, but plenty time yet.12 February 2014 at 3:25 am #127198Did you find somewhere to park the car?

I’d check your hotel is still there (or at least habitable) after recent events!!
I’m a former student there & go back regularly. I was talking to someone who lives there the other week & by all accounts the prom is just a complete & total mess.
Plenty of other reasons to go there like & if you go when the football season’s started take a trip down to Park Avenue to watch the mighty green & blacks!!12 February 2014 at 9:26 pm #127242St Wolfgang (Austrian Lake District) for a week in June.
Never been to Austria before, so another country ticked off the list!
12 February 2014 at 9:57 pm #127243Benidorm is a shithole, not so much the place itself, but the British chavs that have ruined it.My idea of a holiday is not to be surrounded by bellends in `British bars` serving egg n chips.
Im off to Moscow and St Petersburg ;)
12 February 2014 at 10:46 pm #127250never been benidorm before but ill try it before i knock it ,if i dont well back to mallorca year after ;)
13 February 2014 at 2:22 am #127262Benidorm is great for what it is. Same as Blackpool if you want a family holiday go elsewhere if you want it as adult themed then Benidorm is fantastic. Personally I prefer Salou coz the beaches don’t get as packed and I like the layout of the place more. Of all the countries I have visited by far the craziest and most fun is Ireland although very expensive.
Don’t feel in the holiday mood tonight the weather is frightening with no let up in the wind.
16 February 2014 at 12:18 am #127379Nothing booked as yet.
However as it’s our 25th Anniversery in Nov we are planning a trip to New York at the beginning of December.
We also hope to squeeze in a week in Rhodes or Zante at the end of August !!
16 February 2014 at 1:33 am #127384Did you find somewhere to park the car?We usually buy the weekly pass for the island car park and try to use the car as little as possible, as once you lose your place it’s hard to get another.
