Whats the odds he starts the game tommorow with hugo up front by himself, just to avoid a 3 or 4 goal thumping.
Hopefully a lot of the team will go. Sadly it will include the better ones, the “younger nucleus” he has built up.

I just wonder how many of you Martinez loving folk will feel the same way about him should we do a Sheffield United next season.

I am usually quite easy going but that post really p***es me off.
For a post mortem you need a body. When/if we’re relegated then have a pop. Then criticise. Then moan and groan and complain and whatever else floats your boat.
But right now we need two wins, and we need every one of us – darkside, lightside, rare or underdone – behind the team, and not bickering among ourselves about what “should have”.
No wonder the Press, the rugby fans, other “big team” fans etc etc laugh at us.
Get behind the team for the next 8 days. Give it a try. You might even enjoy it.

1. We aint relegated (yet) and 2. your post sounds like he’s tried to get us relegated, which I’m sure he hasn’t!! Now would be a great time for the back to back wins we’ve been waiting for. You just never know… it’s a funny old game ;)
First things first, we all get behind the lads tomorrow, we’ve been playing some good football lately and it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that we get the 3 points. Next week Stoke will be beatable, we are not down yet not by any means. Have faith fellas the fat lady’s not singing yet.

Hmm…we have been playing well of late, but we’ve also had 3 gilt edge opportunities in the last 3 games to wrap up survival and lost the lead in each. That combined with the results today makes me think our feeble luck may have finally run out.
It’s going to go down 3-4 teams all on 39 points being separated by goals scored, never mind goal difference…and as a result we’ll be under the line.
Not that that will stop me from cheering my guts out tomorrow and at Stoke.

Didn’t Sheff Utd stay in the division the year after going down?

They stayed there for a few years, and their manager left after they were relegated to the Championship.Ignore mighty_aff. He’s a bit thick.
ITS NOT BLOODY OVER YET !!! we have two matches that CAN be won to save ourselves from relegation (longshot though i know). The thing we least need now is negative attitudes which you have clearly expressed through your post! Have a little faith lad and make some POSITIVE noise today… They havent got rid of us yet ! :D :happy-partydance:
