Do you like the idea of a wembley semi final or do you think it should be left for the final and it should be played at villa park..
Myself i dont like wembley semis i understand it needs paying for but kind of takes the magic out the final
And its a hypothetical questikn before the darkside inform me that as long as bobbys here i dont need worry

Plus the deal Wembley has that means it has to have so many games a season to rake in a certain ammount of revenue.
It makes little logistical sense when you get a match such as United V City or Liverpool V Everton, both of which have been played at Wembley in the past few seasons.
A semi final between a Northern club and a Southern club SHOULD be played at Villa Park, as its in between for both sets of clubs fans.
I am against semi’s at Wembley. Save wembley for the final, and keep some magic.
26 January 2013 at 10:35 pm #101325I agree with ABL  the media continually go on about the magic of the FA Cup yet two semi-finals are played at Wembley and well just look at the tv schedule Five games broadcast all the same teams on again when you could of had
Norwich v Luton
Macc v tics
qpr v MKdons
all potential upsets not one sniff of live coverage on TV I mean imagine what Macc could of done with the TV money
26 January 2013 at 10:46 pm #101326I think in retrospect the fact that the “Macc v tics” game wasn’t televised was a good thing!

I think at the time the TV companies had to make their decisions they thought it was going to be Macclesfield v Bournemouth

Bit of a traditionalist myself so yep, the final should be the only match played at Wembley for me too.
But then again, i woluldn’t decline a day out at a non traditional place for a semi if the chance arose.. :pinch:27 January 2013 at 5:06 pm #101354The final should be the only game at Wembley.
