But they are at home, will have a sell out crowd (apart from our section), have the boost of Scott Parker (W*nker) and Beranhi back and they know they HAVE to win.
We are still a better team than they are, but we will see what crowd pressure will do
Depends what latics team turns up if they can play as well as they can then we should come away with three points however we all know how bad we can also be. I think Alcaraz is going to be a big loss
It’s more of a “must win” game for them than it is for us. They are there for the taking perhaps, but no away game in this league is a given, especially for one that is itself sat in the relegation zone.
A point wouldn’t be a disaster.
I think a defeat would be a disaster for Latics coz of a) who its against b) coz it cuts out that safety zone of points we have over the 2 teams below us (I know 3 go down but at present it looks like the other teams are battling to just avoid 1 relegation spot as opposed to 3) & c) coz it allows the other teams to start opening up a gap over us – we only have to look at Bolton. When we played them the other week a win would have hauled us pretty much level with em. Now the kants are talking champions league!!!
