From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!21 December 2009 at 10:12 pm #15775There’s only Wigan Athletic who could come up with a deal like that. . . . . . .
Agree £4 million for a player, then let him complete the season with the club he currently plays for!!
You just couldn’t make it up!!!!!!!!!!!!
21 December 2009 at 10:46 pm #15781But isn’t Sinclair with us on loan till the end of the season? He plays in the same position as Moses and is valued at over 10 million.
Sounds OK to me, thats unless chelsea recall Sinclair back in January. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!21 December 2009 at 11:46 pm #15786I have never yet seen anything that vital ‘predicts’ come true… I suppose if you throw enough, some will stick though, what a god awful setup they have spamming news networks for much needed hits.

Yes it is, well spotted
22 December 2009 at 1:41 pm #15814Correct me if I’m wrong o mighty one, but hasn’t Scotland also started on the bench recently?
22 December 2009 at 1:45 pm #15816We’ve had Joseph as well……
Well, ok, JOSIP Skoko.
And don’t even mention ‘Three Kings’. One ‘KING’ was bad enough.
We also sing ‘Gold’ (“Mario”), get sponsorship from ‘Franking Sense’, and it could even be said that Brenda’s a “bit of a mare”, or perhaps “Scotland had a mare”, lol.
We’ve also had a few donkeys in our time, the cover on the Shevvy end at Springfield was a bit like a manger, and though I can’t think of any Shepherd references, we’ve had more than one chairman who has been of the “hook or by crook” variety.
We also had a return of a ‘prodigal son’, although a powerful man (Huw Jenkins) tried his best to put a stop to it.
What are we lacking? A Mary? So we are looking for a virgin in Wigan….
No…..we’re going TOO FAR now. :D  :D  :D
22 December 2009 at 1:52 pm #15819I have never seen a nativity play that included the parable of the Prodigal Son ! But decent effort with the rest of it !! As for shepherds we have had a few crooks though ! Also quite a few of our fans are ” Sheeple ” were DW is concerned !! ha ha ha
22 December 2009 at 1:54 pm #15820Correct me if I’m wrong o mighty one, but hasn’t Scotland also started on the bench recently?Never the let the facts get in the way of a good argument, eh John?
The daft thing is, those who slag off those of us who defend the likes of Gomez and Scotland think we defend them because we think they are world-beaters. We know they are nothing of the sort, but as members of the team they will get our support until they are replaced with someone better.
If only the same could apply to supporters.
22 December 2009 at 2:16 pm #15830To be honest, I’m split on Scotland.
I want him to come good. I HOPE he comes good, but I don’t know if he will.
I do wonder what will happen when and if he get’s his first. Will the weight be off his shoulders? I don’t know.
Fact is, we’ve nobody else at this time. A new striker IS a priority, but then again, what quality is knocking about and available to us? I can’t think of any at this time.
