Stop embarrassing yourselves with the slating of Suarez coz he didnt shake hands with Evra. The pics/videos are already out showing Suarez has his hand out & EVRA pulls his hand away then on seeing the camera puts his hand back out as Suarez walks passed.

Just watched it for the umpteenth time and imho what Evra did was hesitate and Suarez did have his hand out but he may have thought Evra didnt want to shake his hand because of his delay in getting his hand up,Had Evra had his hand out I dont think we would be talking about this now.Im not saying its Evra,s fault it may just be down to both players being apprehensive.
Totally agree there Fil. I acutally posted on here to back Suarez after the initial claims. After today, the man’s obviously a racist prick. Get him on the next plane back to Uruguay. It’s not often I want ManU to win, but today I was with Evra with his end of match celebrations. As for Wigan…we’ve just beaten one of our opponents in the Championship next season…big deal.

Sorry you’ve given up pal, but today’s proved we can stop up. If your so turned on about the championship go and support Barnsley or Watford. :P
It’s difficult to imagine how Liverpool could have handled this affair any more badly. Their stance was mind-numbingly idiotic. Quite what they were hoping to achieve by adopting such a belligerent defence of Suarez was beyond reason even to the point of convincing him that any action he took, like deciding not to shake Evra’s hand after agreeing he would, was fully justified and would be further supported by Liverpool football club. Embarrassing climb-downs and apologies now abound. Dalglish’s credibility is in tatters and lesser errors of judgement have resulted in resignations.
In all honesty, I didn’t expect Suarez to shake his hand. He should have done after apparently indicating to both the FA & his club that he was going to but as he’s still protesting his innocence & claiming Evra lied about what happened I didn;t expect it.
However i think Evra has to shoulder some of the blame for the actual incident on Saturday.
Not in terms if not holding his hand out as some have said, but once Suarez snubbed his offer of a handshake he should have just left it. There was no need to then lean back & grab his arm in an attempt to force a handshake. By doing that the incident was magnified & became more of an issue
Incidentally that isn;t a defence of Suarez &, in the way he comes across as a player, i can’t stand him but I think both of them could have handled the situation better
What should have happened after the game when the accusation was made was for Dalglish to march Suarez over to Evra and tell him to apologise for whatever it was he said, whether he thought it was racist or not. There would have been no eight match ban, no Sky media circus and no embarrassing climb-downs. End of.
