A very ordinary, uneventful and dull game until we scored. Then it all fell apart.
On the plus side (well hardly) I saw Di Santo score.

Do you remember the season we stopped up by goal difference? I always look back to the game at Old Trafford when we got a penalty in the last seconds already defeated. We laughed at the time saying “what good was that?”, but it was vital in the end.
Maybe Di Santo’s goal will keep us up. Just a thought like.

Don’t say that or we’ll have the ‘Why’s he not played more games’ posts from those who used to post ‘Why’s he even on the bench’?

Agreed and although only a consolation, the importance of that goal was not lost at the time. At least Di Santo made the effort and put himself in a position to score.
Alcaraz and McCarthy looked like they were carrying injuries.

I hope you’re right Garswood, I really do, but the way things are looking, esp. with our low goals scored that it’s more likely 1 goal will send us down. Maybe the one we unnecessarily conceded against Blackpool the other week…or perhaps maybe one of the 10 we conceded at the start of the season ;)
Fortunately both west ham’s and wolves’ recent 3-0 defeats have brought our GD more in line. Now all we need is a few more goals scored. Hopefully Franco’s broken the seal…
