What a fantastic evening!
The Latics won 4-3 away at Fleetwood (glad we took it seriously) and the chubbies are on course for another potless season thanks to a magnificent display from Hull FC in the CC semi final.

Bullit you have just made my weekend. I am up in Alston so was engrossed in and Fotmob and Latics website that I totally forgot the Lardy Bums were playing in some semi or summat. Thought it was still at the early round stages, third or fourth round. Made my weekend that. Four goals from the blues too coming from all over the field apart from the lone striker which in a way shows the support for the lonely one is there. Will will be amongst the goals soon so long as this support continues.
I’m so pleased you enjoyed a 4-3 win against Fleetwood. Perhaps it will help boost ticket sales for next Saturday, which I hear are pretty disappointing. It may even help boost your season ticket sales to above 6000.
Another positive for you is that your game with QPR on 27 August wont have its kick-off time changed, unlike the last time your home game clashed with a Warriors appearance at a cup final.
Personally , I’m somewhat disappointed they didn’t make it as my oldest pal who’s lived in the US for many years is coming for a three week home visit and had already incorporated a Wembley weekend in his trip. I’d have liked them to get there for him and indeed a couple of other Rugby ‘lifers’ of my acquaintance, neither of whom have ever given me or Latics ANY stick over the years.

One reason cherry and shyte fans where not there might be because ._.Bolton ,westhoughton ,chorley ,horwich._.People where away on holiday ._.Looking at it from a wiganers point of view who in wigan still watch that shyte anyway._.Only some knob who watches shyt like slumberland would admit he does ._.But did he go or was it too far ?

I thought ten thousand to Doncaster on a Friday night was pretty good. Then I realised that was including the Hull fans.
Considering it wasn’t a school night, I thought the turnout was pretty atrocious. One wonders what the away followings will be like over the coming months, and whether they’ll be the laughing stock of the league.
