Didn’t like Caldwell last season but due to lge 1 being so poor ie Bolton this season if you don’t agree, Caldwell got away with it. This season is proving how poor he really is.

Grigg was carrying a knock according to GB and they didn’t want to risk him with there being three games in a week.As the game progressed Nick Powell created enough chances to win 3 games and that header???? HTF did he miss that!! :woohoo:

Many people would have been shocked again with the team selection. If those three are available,they should play and it doesn’t matter who they replace. Doesn’t even matter if we have a game on Tuesday either. Perkins and Grigg were probably the two main reasons for winning the league last season and Jordis class and experience just speaks for itself. Any excuse for not playing them is inexcusable. Question is what the hell will Gary do on Tuesday and then again on Saturday? Change and Swap and then Swap and Change. Con flamin sistency is what we need now. Same team week in week out until the end of the season. It was July that this shambles started.
When i was walking to the stadium on Saturday at 2.30pm just over the canal bridge one mon was ranting about the team selection to anyone that would listen he had a Latics shirt on but was walking away from the stadium.
Make your own minds up on that one.

With hindsight that geezer had the right idea! Wish I’d known how utterly shite it was going to be beforehand! ;)
What did GC say the other week in the paper? “we cant play 2 up top it does,nt suit Wills style of play” then he leaves him on the bench. The mind boggles.
GC probably thought he could rest those 3 players as he may have thought the ones he put out could have done a job against burton. I expect those said 3 players to be back tonight.
