I thought young piscu was more of a left back… Can see our squad being stronger than that against Hull…
7 January 2011 at 6:46 pm #54911I’ve been through the squad list and I don’t think we will be a whole lot stronger than that. Piscu is a centre back.
Players out: Moses, McCarthy, Cleverley, Di Santo, Boselli, N’Zogbia, Kirkland, Boyce.
It’s almost an entire team! Maybe we should recall a couple of players – Koumas anyone?
7 January 2011 at 11:20 pm #54935The team I would personally go for as I think this team could at least earn a replay, even with all our injuries.
Pollitt
Gohouri S.Caldwell Lopez Redmond
Stam McArthur Watson Gomez
McManaman Di SantoSubs –
Nicholls
Robinson
Boyce
Diame
De Ridder
Mustoe

Tomorrow if we win this board will be quiet how ever no matter if we lose expect the dark side to use the venom that we have been used to despite 7 players injured and all that

8 January 2011 at 3:15 am #54958No, he plays left back but gets forward a hell of a lot.
Di Santo is fit to play.

Wigan Athletic will be without Charles N’Zogbia who serves his final game of a three-match ban. James McCarthy, Victor Moses and Franco Di Santo remain on the long-term injury list but Emmerson Boyce could return to action after suffering a hamstring injury in the game against Bolton Wanderers back in October.”8 January 2011 at 3:36 am #54964Yes Batch, but Sephton knows, you know?

8 January 2011 at 12:22 pm #54973When you get an announcement from the club on a Friday that we will be ringing the changes you can be sure that as many of our key players as he can get away with will be rested.
Not too optimistic – or bothered – about getting a result today
8 January 2011 at 12:52 pm #54974Does that mean your not going Griff?
If not, spare a thought for us boys making the trip to the KC and the Sunshine band. :P
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!8 January 2011 at 2:15 pm #54977I’m not going mate, but not because of the likely team we will put out.
Enjoy your day, and let’s hope I’m wrong.
8 January 2011 at 2:37 pm #54978“Yes Batch, but Sephton knows, you know?”
Yep, I know, you know?
As Franco’s still out injured, possibly slip De Ridder in for him and play a 4-5-1 formation …. with Cal McManaman up-top on his own.
9 January 2011 at 3:23 am #55004I fekin enjoyed the day, the trip up was trouble free, the celebration for mackas goal was stupendous and I met Jayt’s little girls, what a gem!!
