Maybe someone could enlighten me, but has this been overlooked by the Kick It Out Brigade?
In their rush to get all the ‘balanced’ information about our lovely Chairman and what he has done for this club and the leadership he has displayed since taking over all those years ago have they not checked their own records.
Of course, Mr Whelan must have been away when they dropped in to make their assessment because I am sure that if they had met him then all hell would have broken loose.
To add to the other claim from the FA who ‘demand’ that he names the two senior people who told him all would be alright – that’s quite simple it was Greg Dyke and Richard Scudamore. Mr Whelan was just having one of his Senior Moments when he came out with that statement because it is obvious this is who he meant.
Oh! What do we think about the possibility of Holt coming back to the club? (to keep this football related) – would he be welcome or booed off the park?
25 November 2014 at 9:19 pm #136278Why boo him? He was obviously cold shouldered, and when he did play was left alone when he is clearly a player who lives off chances set up.

Me? I would welcome him back, it’s another option the manager could have – however, how many options/choices does he need, after all it has been said that we have too large a squad as it is?
25 November 2014 at 9:39 pm #136280I would never boo any of our players.
He will have to do a lot better than he did when was here before though, because he wasn’t very good – whatever the reason.

That’s an understatement.
I’m quite happy to be proved wrong though.25 November 2014 at 10:14 pm #136283I would never boo any of our players. He will have to do a lot better than he did when was here before though, because he wasn’t very good – whatever the reason.
Totally agree, and maybe the reason has moved on.
27 November 2014 at 1:03 am #136315And I suppose it was Roslers fault that Grant was over weight as well..
Uwe demanded hard work from his players but Mr Holt was obviously not up for any of that nonsense.
27 November 2014 at 4:13 pm #136322There 4 pts above us and Holt has scored 2, that’s hardly setting the world alight. Leave him be, he seems happy enough and possibly extend his loan I’d say. I would sooner see us use the forwards we have at hand and use them as forwards rather than a headless chicken. I thought the return of McCann looked promising pushing forward so hopefully our forwards will have something to feed off.
3 center halfs
2 wing backs
3 in the middle
2 up front, yes 2 !! -
