From what I saw of Rotherham last Saturday in just the highlights footage I’m fully expecting them to drive the final relegation nail in on Saturday.

It looks like Division One Football again. Last night’s result was another nail in the coffin.
I do believe the Chairman should now bring in an experienced manager. Phil Brown has done a remarkable job on very meagre resources at Southend. He is the only English born manager in Division One. There are so many looking for a job. I do hope Sharp looks ahead.
But Sharp, himself, had better sharpen up. He should allow the new manager to identify the players HE wants. NOT recruit by committee and certainly not a team loaded with loanees. But so many players have not given their all. So many have appeared unfit from day one of the season. I exclude Burns, Gilks in that. Many must be moved on.
Sharp must allow a new manager to have his own training staff and it must be Thank you and goodbye to Barrow and the rest. They have failed the club.
If the Latics cannot beat Rotherham all hope is lost.
Sharpey has to step up now and show he is capable of running things. Announce now if a new manager will chosen or if Barrow is gonna be the one. No point now waiting we are down and out and need some hope for next season. He needs to make good his cock ups and keep the fans interested. I cannot fathom out why the next manager isn’t already in the job planning for next season sorting out the wheat from the chaff unless he already is.
