this owd bastd should die the lying cntHow many more times, for Christ’s sake!?
1) Player decides he wants to leave.
2) Find a club (any club) that wants him.
3) Get as much as you can and sell.
4) Get a replacement.3 out of 4 complete.
27 August 2010 at 4:51 pm #44290well said bickymon, the guy is a tit and he will keep on doing it as long as he owns the club.he is a business man 1st and for most he is only in it 4 the profit.

i dont its in his pocket mi ladAnd who do you think paid the £6m to buy him in the first place? Whose pocket did that come out of?
Maybe we’ll get a replacement, maybe not. Wait and see.

i dont its in his pocket mi ladI’m confident we’ll get a replacement, lord knows we need one.
N’Zogbia was the replacement for Valencia when he left, I’m confident we’ll bring somebody in that will do the job.
At least we’ll bring in somebody that wants to play for us, even if it’s only for a season :(
27 August 2010 at 5:23 pm #44296i must have missed something ,because whelan wont spend out of his own pocket
correct me if im wrong but didnt we buy zogbia with funds we got from heskey a d palacios
yes ok i admit when whelan took over he spent his own money upto us getting in the prem
then it was all change ,and since its been market day every transfer window
gets um in cheep sells for a tidy profit, nothing wrong i know with that
but we are getting down to the shyte now,not long before he jumps ship27 August 2010 at 5:31 pm #44298No Whelan hasn’t spent anything over the years has he?
Wake the f up

Either way, it’s irrelvant. Players want to leave clubs and when they do, you try to get as much money for them as possible.
As fas as a decent replacment is concerned, there probably isn’t much time to bring one in now this one, unless they have already been looking at someone in anticipation of N’zogbia leaving.
27 August 2010 at 5:37 pm #44301You do need to question if we sell a player to rivals, could relegation cost us £40m?
You would think we had a replacement in mind, I suspect he will buy another striker to play on the wing again !

wasnt it from the small change he had in his pocket when he sold palacious for 12-14 million* or the 3 million for heskey
( * estimate)nzogbia’s sale is all profit
the transfer balance sheet is and has been well in credit for quite a while and i dont doubt for one minute that will change before 5pm tuesday.
this is the same situation as cattermole last year -bruce always said “though our first offers were rebuked,i was always encouraged to believe that there was a deal to be done and thats why we went back”
whelan has conducted an auction in public to sell nzogbia !
DOES ANYONE IN THIS WORLD HONESTLY BELIEVE WHELAN WAS GOING TO SPEND 6 + MILLION ON BOSELLI AND 3 MILLION ON STAM WITHOUT SELLING SOMEONE IN RETURN.
once again the transfer balance sheet falls the way whelan likes it,and he will blame us fans and the crowds again -that is why he brought it into the public domain during his interview this week.
