Totally unlike the owd get,why is he not stickin his nose in like he used too?
27 February 2011 at 11:04 pm #60672Probably had all his interest knocked out of him by comments such as yours….
Wigan Athletic must have the most unreasonable ungrateful fans in the world.
He spends millions on the club to take us to the top division for 6 seasons against all the odds, and still he is “an old get”.
A few people need to realise getting relegated was always going to happen sooner or later, this season seems to be our turn. But its not through lack of effort by any one individual. The standard (read that as wealth) of the other 19 teams in the league has steadily grown and overtaken us.
If we do go down, at least next year we have a chance of playing on a more level playing field, and there won’t be as many Primma Donna super rich players able to influence referees decisions as much.
Oh and the other good thing is there probably wont be any Truelatics4evas around on here either.
27 February 2011 at 11:05 pm #60673He can’t really win can he!! Condemned for remaining silent or ridiculed for any comment made. Makes you wonder why he bothered in the first place. :angry-banghead:

28 February 2011 at 12:50 am #60711Whelan has acheived the impossible keeping the club up on a shoestring budget-his silence is applauded
I agree completely that the standard has increased this season to such an extent that a relegation contender(Boringham City) has won a major trophy!
Latics cant compete and lets be honest who thought the club would last six seasons in the Prem.
Its not the end of the world we will still have a club to support next season and hopefully all the fans will return to support the club in the lower division.
Think of it possible trips to Leeds,Burnley and Boro instead of Dulham(mega yawn surely the most boring football club in history-b a stad watertreaders),Boringham and Stokick city.

Who gives a @@@@!!!!!!why not think about fans that can barely afford home games any more, let alone the cost of away games, when the only way we can watch those is by television -with foreign channels and skys football first, not to mention live games being the only outlet, now swap that with the 10 minutes(if that) per week we will get when relegated.
