I never said i was a student? What i expect from a Chairman who runs a multi million pound business, is for him to be professional, especially with his customers (ultimately us) .
Maybe educated was the wrong word to use i accept, however i was trying to make the point he should think before he speaks.

I wasn’t even directly referring to you at the time, it was just a sweeping generalisation of the way people speak, it’s annoying when they add inflections all over the place when they’re not actually asking a question – that was just the way I read that post. Didn’t think it would have riled you so much to still be mentioning it about a week later.
ANYWAY I agree that he needs to stop speaking his mind as often as he does, half the time there’s no need for him to stick his beak in (such as the time he was calling for the Premier League to take control of the national side). I didn’t believe it when I first read it and now I see that he’s said it in the past and is still here then I just have to take it on the chin and dismiss it in the same way I would a senile old man spouting nonsense :?

no worries it kind of came across like you was talking down to me in that annoying way that .18,19,20 years old do when they start going to uni. perhaps the people your referring to are the very people that get on my t1ts. its all ambiguous on a forum any way and things get taken out of context. sometimes when I post I have had a skin full and I make grammatical errors left right and centre. I make enough when I am sober. any how lad pay no mind to me :)

Does anybody think in light of the financial climate in football and particularly in the running of Wigan, Dave is looking for a way out?!who knows? perhaps he is?. all i know is that he is a very egotistical old man who loves a good sound bite and no doubt also loves the sound of his own voice. this my way or it’s the highway comment is just another in a long long list of crap to come out of his mouth. we don’t work for him we are paying customers. the way he carries on though you would think that we are his staff on minimum wage :roll:
The thing is with Whelan, he makes those comments like he will just walk away without a care in the world. I don’t think so….leaving would be a major headache for him as well as the club. He stands to lose big time unless he finds a suitable buyer.
He could start selling players to pocket some dough but the stadium is on a lease. I think he stands to lose far more than the fans, we will always be here and enjoy the latics like we have for many years good and bad.
He possibly saved our club from going out of the league and fair do’s to him for that but to treat the fans like we shouldn’t have an opinion is wrong. We can’t summon Bob like he can to have a chat so we get our point across from the stands. Whats the problem with that?

I never said Wigan would be here, just that Whelan shouldn’t use this carte blanche as a lever to shut the fans up.
As per other clubs who have gone bang and reformed such as Wimbledon, i would still support my team and enjoy it just as much.Whelan has to be given credit but Wigan Athletic will carry on long after he has gone, with or without his money.
