I reckon we virtualy gave up at the end of last season with this league when we stayed up on the last day and over the summer weakened the squad.
Speak to most real Latics fans and most agree it is not the leaving of this awfull uncompetetive league of cheats and corruption but its the leaving without a fight that pisses us all off.
These same players who dont seam to raise a bit of effort and die for their shirts are the same players that take out the millions of pounds that Sky put into Latics.
Just think next season we may even see over a dozen wins and half an effort in the cups.3 February 2012 at 4:34 pm #80296i think the towel was thrown in when heskey and palacios where sold
if we had kept those and further strengthened the team it might have been a differant situation now
with crowds well over the 20k
instead the team was ripped apart and weakened every season after destroying what growing support we had and started the decline we now see
the final act will be the sale of the stadium to the warriors that is a cert3 February 2012 at 4:42 pm #80297i think the towel was thrown in when heskey and palacios where sold

the final act will be the sale of the stadium to the warriors that is a certIf anybody’s gonna be thrown out of the stadium it will be the chubsters mate. They better hope that the new Latics chairman when he or she arrives, has the same affinity for the lodgers as DW, or they’ll be off to orrell.
By the way, the only people to have thrown the towel in, is the fickle Martinez out brigade on here.
