Over the seasons he as been in charge we have conceded the most goals and scored the very least. Formations do not work not rocket science. I here the mosses as signed for arsenal whether its true or false. For tonights game Diame and Mosses on bench when they have been playing well. What will happen if we dont do anything in the january sales. We will fall like other teams like the likes of Charlton Leeds Forest. My point is that Whelan needs to sort this mess out now. G Jones as never been a coach or an assistant so get shut of him and get some 1 who can give a rollocking at the side lines get a proper defending coach and midfield coach and forward coach not former players from the lower end of the leagues not experienced enough. We definitely need to buy 4 players but who can we afford i love my club and hate the fans what live in wigan who support manure shitty liverpoo everton We Are Wigan support your own team.

He could not go with the 3 centre backs due to captain cock up being suspended but his other changes beggar belief watson could not get corners up to knee height and when he did he over shot them we were far too slow in midfield and jones as no left peg other than that we are all HUNKY DORY in martinez s fantasy football land :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
4 January 2012 at 2:30 am #76800Still looked like 3 centre halves to me – problem was the clown in the middle of the three. Actually all 3 were clowns.

didnt we have boyce on bench, straight swap one for one, why make so many changes and disrupt the team
4 January 2012 at 2:49 am #76815whats the story behind maloney we buy players and not use them and this Van Aanholt players we sign and not use them wasted money if you ask me Boselli is another on loan out 6 million quid he cost
4 January 2012 at 3:14 am #76823didnt we have boyce on bench, straight swap one for one, why make so many changes and disrupt the teamBoyce was in the squad as a last resort. He’s had personal problems and hasn’t trained or played for weeks.
Anyhow, it was a case of one for one – as it was still three centre halves.
The problem isn’t due to formations – it’s due to stupid, careless defensive errors: ‘Foul’ on the edge of the box; Jones trying to dribble and losing it; Figueroa being caught way out of position.
Going forward, they were okay. I’ve seen them play worse than that and win. I actually think Caldwell was missed – even if just to have a leader on the pitch.
And in answer, Graeme Jones has been a coach and assistant manager before – at Swansea. Unfortunately there isn’t the money at the club to bring in top class coaches.

The thing is though Standish Bob wants them to play from the back and how many times do we get ourselves in trouble. If we don’t have the players to play that way it’s simple don’t. But Bob has got to take the blame it’s his team playing his way.
