has the site down time of the last couple of days been the latest in a long line of tactics by the happy clappers to take pressure off their man, after yet another in the long line of inept,gutless displays ?
this year on year progress/improvment you all keep telling me about must me warming the cockles of you martinez supporters hearts.
Still out of bottom 3 and above noblot to boot. My clapper is still quite happy thank you very much. :dance:
As for gutless performance, wouldn’t exactly say that, we had our moments and probably deserved a draw. That’s even with a makeshift back four.
Left back not played first team football for yonks and little or no EPL experience. Left back playing CH, CH playing right back.

i wasnt including any of the players in my remarks it was the clown in the technical area with folded arms and brown shoes who my “inept/gutless” comment is aimed at.

So he was the one doing the poor defending and hitting the bar with that chip late on.
He can only play with the cards he has in his hands and at the moment the lack of fit defenders is hitting us hard.Sorry but that might be a bit hard for you to see from behind your Martinez out banner. :snooty:

There’s 5 games gone and 5 points on the board with tough away trips at city, everton and swansea , out the way.
It can be frustrating at times watching this keep ball tactics that bobby employs, but with a fully fit team we can play it effectively and it looks good when we do.
Don’t think we have a god given right to go to places like Everton and come away with 3 points and a top drawer display. I watched the game and was as frustrated as the next man at the quality of our play at times. As I said we are struggling for fit defenders at the moment, especially the likes of Boyce and Alcaraz who can bring the ball out and link up with our midfield to get things moving forward quickly.
I’ll start to be critical of this team, manager, players and tactics when the players I’ve mentioned come back and we do struggle week in week out.I suppose you could describe this attitude of mine as sort of understanding the current predicament a little better than the likes of your good self LMB. Lets leave it at that. ;)

I am, I was on the road at 5am this morning.
The weather at Grassmere was lovely.Cant see us getting anything from Spurs or Villa in the next 2 games, when 5 points from 7 games will look poor, more than likely in the bottom 3.
