Obviously there will be the usual trip to Austria and some warm ups with local clubs.
Chorley would be fun as they’ve just been promoted
We also need a Scottish tour this year – Stranraer, Raith and Berwick. Arbroath is apparently a good day out. Or a couple of Highland League clubs???
We’ve had a couple of good Scottish trips and three years at the Isle of Man are a thing of legend. Can we get back into that tournament?
We should be looking at Dutch and Belgian mini-tours as well over the next few years.
Of course we will finish up with a Championship/League One team away and someone exotic at home.
Rochdale away, Braga/Valencia at home
Not setting my sites too high, but at least give us some interesting trips.

Same old same old I reckon – foreign training camp with and a couple of behind closed doors games
8 June 2011 at 5:09 pm #67338Definitely a home friendly on 6th August against ‘different’ opposition
8 June 2011 at 5:31 pm #67339Shame, we had a good night out in Chorley quite a few years ago.
Started to watch the match from the clubhouse. They told us we would have to go out and watch the game because they were getting ready for bingo.
At that point we realised it was the reserves, so we decided to stay in the club and I won a toaster! Which I gave to the old woman sitting next to me
I could do with a new kettle

10 June 2011 at 9:54 am #67514The Donnie woman reminds me of someone from Pemps during the late 20th Century when I used to frequent the place.
