      Super Shaun Maloney

Are we going to get behind him? Or will the fans think an ex-player that has only managed in Scotland and the number one ranked International football team, isn’t good enough?

After sleeping on it, I think I can get quite excited about it, one thing is for sure, he definitely loves this Club.

FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that

100% yes and why not !!??? This guy is part of our history for 2 of the biggest occasions at our club
        1) The obvious FA Cup win
        2) Scoring the goal that basically put an end to Manures Premiership title hopes.

I read a few articals on his time at Hibs and and having to sell his top goal scorer for £3million not long after taking over didn’t help.
A few said he wasn’t scared of introducing a few young lads into the team and they could see things progressing but it’s a results business, no win no job.

Look whatever happens to us it ain’t his fault it’s a 5 way spilt 3 managers boardroom, owners he’s here to try and save our season, boo boys stay away please or just get behind him

Why not get behind him ?….no point not . Better get a move on if we are going to make additions before Tuesday evening. I for 1 would bin Fletcher, Azeez and return Humphries but looks like we’ll have to make do with what we have. Beaten by Bolton for Burton forward after being in negotiations for over a week . Not surprised, our league position, Toure sacking, late wages doesn’t make us very appealing bar for the lame and lazy. Maloney is probably a decent choice, certainly his history with us a big advantage. He’s also very knowledgeable and articulate. So let’s get him in and Talal needs to dust off his pen in the next 72 hours. We’re not down yet………remember who we are……

Albeit under shady circumstances Shauney’s in post now with the rusty, er, I mean vintage “Battle bus Barrow” and an “all is forgiven” Pascal. It’ll certainly keep the message boards busy!

Personally I’m up for this weather we stay up or not.

Hopefully we’ll pack out the away end at Blackburn for the first of many Hokey Cokeys.

Will give him a few weeks but not over excited with this.
Should have eaten humble pie and gone for Wilder.
It’s been shit football for years so hopefully he changes the mould.

Not excited by Maloney’s appointment, the board is bloody useless, out of the pan in to the fire on this one.
Lets be honest Leam Richardson had more championship experience than Toure and Maloney and that is why this latest plan will fail, a strong experienced manager is what’s needed if we want to stay up, too late now though!

                Fuck the EFL

Who would you have gone for Bullitt ?

Look Richardson failed with the current crop and so did Kolo. And if the owners don’t back him in the next few days Maloney will follow suit.

I’m sorry but the backbone of this side is not Championship quality it’s as simple as that. Now a new manager might get the playing better but I don’t think good enough to keep us up.
I pray I’m way off the mark and he can pick up points to keep us up but without additions who’ve been here before I don’t think we can it’s a step to far for me.
I’ve got to agree with Mr Brownbill, Fletcher is awful he offers nothing along with Power and McClean

Here we go again the team isn’t championship quality, neither were the last three managers but yet you don’t mention that.

Phoenix, the answer to your question, any manager with championship experience, that said Luton and Blackpool got them two.

                      Fuck the EFL

If he is a decent manager he may do that bit better than the last two.

I think we need @ 3 premium young/up and coming loan signings in to have a chance to stay up – of quality similar to the Jedi and Reece James loans of the past. Much easier said than done.

Were not big enough a club to get a top class manager nor do we have the money to pay one and even if we did I’m sure he’d request a super healthy budget so we have to gamble on new/younger managers or a very old manager.

If the squad isn’t a Championship quality side like I’ve said before, Sir Alex would have his work cut out, it’s like the chicken and the egg, which is it? Poor players or poor manager ?

Theres one thing we can all agree on, the manager needs backing from the owners. He’s 2 days to sort it.

We seem to have plenty money to keep paying managers contracts up and compensation to clubs for taking their coaches.

I would imagine that we did the honourable deal with Liam, but it could be a different matter with Kolo & his gang. I’ve seen a lot of employment contracts that contain a probationary period, so why should football managers & coaches be any different. Could have been that 60 days was the breakpoint at which they could be relieved of duties with minimal compensation. So maybe the club are not totally inept ?

All I ask of the new manager is some signs of improvement before the inevitable relegation then consolidate next season building for the future.
Need to try some young players and try and build club that way.
No use sacking him after 9 games because it’s very likely the losing run will continue.
The team just isn’t good enough and no further chopping and changing of management will change that !
