        Should be Crouch IMO… If Rooney plays like he did against Japan, then he shouldn’t even be on!

          At the moment Crouch is looking most likely to finish top scorer for England. I know Rooney has about 25 goals to Crouch’s 20 or so, but Crouch has scored nearly every time he’s started for England for the past two years. I rate Rooney but the set up is different at international level, and it affects a lot of players. Gerrard and Lampard, for example, are never as good for England as they are for Liverpool and Chelsea.

            Anyone but Bent he is so far off being an international player its unbelievable. Has to be either Heskey or Crouch though but Heskey makes Rooney a better player imo
