I am presuming he is suspended so who is going to partner Power as defensive midfielders.
I reckon give the job to David Perkins.
Who else is there?Not sure Perkins as the legs to do the running he will need to do.
Personally I would go with 3 CBs and bring Bruce in especially as Dan Burn likes to get forward. He actually played as a defensive midfielder for Bury against us.
Other option is Fulton I guess.
Cook should rest as many of the first team squad as possible considering how they’ve played in the last two game. We have a heavily congested last couple of months of the season and we need fresh legs. We ain’t going to win the FA Cup and we ain’t going to trouble city with our tired looking first team.

If Monday was Rochdale, Hull, Coventry, Sheffield Utd etc I would strongly disagree but since it isn’t I totally agree with your selection.
Funny how the draw didn’t place any clubs out of the greed league together.Vaughan is cup tied and Daniels might be too.
Obviously the league is our priority but we dont want to get embarrassed on national tv.
The team Cook played at home to Fylde almost caused us a much bigger embarrassment than getting beat with the best team in the land.
We have no replacement for Morsy. Simple as that.Perks had a pretty good shot at it in the end. We even rested Jacobs and James for the game and that didn’t cause us any harm.

Gnawed away at them tirelessly all evening. Made 1 duff pass near the end and made efforts to correct it straight away. Poor guy was knackered.
