I wonder if any of the above players are actually on bobby’s wanted list or if they are just names being thrown into the bag. I’m sure bobby knows exactly who he wants but just thought i’d post these to keep people interested in what may happen this month.

I’m not getting to excited as we usually have nothing to get excited about. Bob may know who he wants but wether the funds are available for those players god knows.
I expect us to sell our best players and sign rubbish and make a nice profit in the transfer window. Hope i’m wrong but I wouldn’t bet on it!!!!
How can he be an asset stripper when he was the one who got the club to where it currently is? It’s not as if he bought a successful club and is running it into the ground?
If he’s taking money out (as you suspect), he’s merely taking out what he put in!
Mr Walker…surley your not suggesting that Whelan put in his own personal fortune and paid £M’s to put us where we are??
I think Mr Whelan should sell his house, all his assets or mortgage our attendances for 200 years and sign Kaka for £200M and Ronaldo for £200M….then we can win the league, Europe, the world cup and then everyone will come and watch us at the ….err….DW stadium (providing he didn’t sell that to pay for players) and we will get a gazillion fans on a week…..
You’re right Jimmy. We were up there with the big boys before that Whelan bloke came along, selling our 60,000 all seater stadium and state of the art training facilities.
Well that’s one tick off my list which may be closely followed with Caldwell’s arrival.[/quote]
You cannot seriously be saying you predicted that!
You simply listed every footballer’s name that’s been printed in the papers for the last 4 weeks. Throw enough s*** and some will stick.
Jesus, this board just gets worse and worse  Thank christ for the few sensible posters still left. And no, I don’t just mean those who agree with me.

If you read my 1st post you will see I stated all those names had just been thrown into the bag and I also said I wonder how many will actually sign so my last post was just a joke to say I have got 1 right from the list of names. Some people just take things too seriously.

Hmmm, and isn’t it strange that people suddenly say their posts were tongue in cheek or written in jest as soon as someone disagrees with it?

As oposed to the Glazers who, it would appear, have “borrowed” £10million from United and charged them a similar amount for ‘administration and management’ charges.
Yep…….we are being stripped bare.
Mr Walker, phrases like ‘p!55ing into the wind’ come to mind when trying to explain this to some people here…….
