We all know the horrendous stick RM gets from some on here it makes you wonder how thick skinned you have to be to be the manager.

Yesterday Sunderland were laying seige on our gallant hero,s going all out for the win. We aimlessly hoof the ball upfield where Wes Brown is lurking he then plays a one two with the keeper before dropping an almighty bollock allowing us to secure our first win for ages. The Sunderland fans roundly turn on owd spud yed himself and give him pelters. Now whilst this was as funny as fook you have to ask “on what planet was that Bruce,s fault”? See it isnt just us ;)

In my eyes it just demonstrates that those who boo their own team at matches usually have an IQ which is equal to the sum of the scoreline.

Second time in 2 games a long punt upfield has resulted in a goal for us, now isnt that something only considered by our previous manager, something I may add the the lightside whilst singing, from the rooftops, were glad to see the back of, to be replaced by the flowing football we play now.

There’s a time and a place for both styles and I’d say the last minute when you’re chasing a much needed win is a good time to try going more direct. Unfortunately, Bruce didn’t have the passing game in his mentality, just 90 minutes of hoof.

Good that we now have a manager that can play both styles despite clearly having a preference for the possession style.

That Griff I would say was open to debate ;)

Bobby may have learnt a lesson after the faffing about during the Bolton game when Stevie G fo oked up near our corner flag and bolton scored from the said fo ok up indeed a good hoof is needed in the 92nd minute however I wouldn’t like to see it for the full 90 minutes
