24 April 2012 at 12:26 am #85872Well, we got three of them against Spurs at the weekend. What chance three points against Stoke.
hi guys, QPR fan in peace. Suprised more than half of you think we’ll go down and Bolton will stay up. I’m sure you of all fans know, it’s not the games in hand or the teams you have to play but how you are playing at this stage of the season.
We’re playing well, as are you. Blackburn are awful and will go down. Bolton have games in hand, but they have a side that is pants and has been pants all season. A bit kettle and pot, maybe, but it is difficult to see where the five-plus points they will need will come from. Particularly when they can’t beat Swansea at home…
I reckon we are in the same boat flatfoot, 4 points should be enough so if we say we get 3 points v Wolves (by no means a certainty) you will probably beat Stoke it leaves you needing a point from Chelsea and Citeh and us from Newcastle and Rovers. Squeaky bum time methinks for us both. ;)
24 April 2012 at 12:43 pm #85880I think a win for Aston Villa tonight would be simply marvellous…
I have a feeling that it is us and you that will stay up, which in my twisted mind is deserved because we are both doing it the hard way.
I think you’re right about a draw with Blackburn. The concern for you is Wolves….there is nothing more annoying than the side that’s been relegated – they start playing good football all of a sudden!

Unless you’re under 20.
Though I have to say, with your unparalleled progress through the leagues it’s a wonder you can enjoy the pleasure that winning gives you. You haven’t had nearly enough pain as a club to appreciate it properly!

27 April 2012 at 7:29 pm #86042I reckon 38 points will be the safety mark this season – as for who goes down with Wolves – my money is on the loser of Blackburn v Wigan + Aston Villa, who weren’t on the choices – I cant see them getting more than 1 point from their run-in.

I obviously hope they don’t as I really don’t like McLeish and would rather them go down than us.
I still reckon Wolves, Rovers, Rangers….

29 April 2012 at 11:21 pm #86200Think both QPR and Blackburn today played like teams that know they’re going down
29 April 2012 at 11:23 pm #86201Simple answer…………………….NOT US ;) ;) ;)
29 April 2012 at 11:57 pm #86202Blackburn didnt muster a shot in the game today and to be honest it should have been a lot more.If they are as bad as that today a week on monday the result there will be a fomality. They looked as if they have given up the fight already.
Tottenham looked very good today and they are up at Aspull wanderers on wednesday with a win there putting them within a point of Arseh@les mob for third spot.
Blackburn and QPR for me.2 May 2012 at 11:37 am #86407Will Man City screw it up against QPR on the last day? The pressure is really on to get points from the game against Stoke.
Bolton will be twitchy if they lose tonight and West Brom will be seeing Roy off with a good end of season. Stoke away isn’t easy and they are playing far better than they were when we managed it last season
A draw for us against Blackburn will see us good and end their very faint dreams of surviving.
2 May 2012 at 1:03 pm #86414I am still shocked at how feeble QPR and Blackburn were on sunday in their respective games against Chelsea and Tottenham.
Cant see either of them getting to 37 points!8 May 2012 at 2:37 pm #86743Now it is down to two, I’ll start another off
