Which press reports are those ? ESPN said he’d been carrying a knock – but in my book if you are fit enough to come on and play 30 you were fit enough to start.
Were you watching a different game Filmoss? Moses played very well whenever he got some space, got back to defend, and displayed a decent first touch compared to most of the others.
I imagine Martinez didn’t want to risk N’zog unless he had to and thought he might be able to get something without him, but that when it wasn’t happening he decided to take the risk.
However, given that Moses was having a good game, Diame clearly wasn’t and Cleverley wasnt comfortable on the wing, why didn’t he just take Diame off for N’zog and bring Cleverley into the centre?
