Cheap option? He had to pay compensation to Swansea for Martinez and his staff!

how is 3mill compansation a cheap option.
how long is many years,truthfullyI think Bruce jumped ship because he could see what was coming.
No money for half-decent signings, and selling more and more players.
I think he had to pay the 3 million, as Roberto was the only person who would take the job. More out of sentiment, than anything.
Not sure any other manager would work to these constraints. But then again, it’s been like that since 1995. :(
bruce used us as a stepping stone,the man as no loyalty and if he was doing a good job at the makems and a bigger club came in for him he would be off again,and if my memory serves me right whelan approached swansea and martinez 1st not the other way round
Well positives for this season……. beating a top four club for the first time, having an ex player as a manager and wanting to come to the club when other bigger clubs were interested (This is the first step in the generational aspect for the club), people may hate the hot and cold nature of the club but it certainly is interesting than most seasons. Season ticket prices being frozen again. ………to name a few.
Some people are enjoying the ride of the premiership, if we do get relegated I suspect the same negetive people will be wishing we were in division 1 !

Yes, as long as you remember the only reason there at this low price is down to fans backlash when prices were pumped up.
If we could get 25,000 on charging £50 a ticket, Whelan would do it.£50 a ticket that would ensure the first ever 0 crowd in the clubs history
