To be quite honest, as long as whoever comes in is open and honest with the fans and passionate, transparent that willl do for me.
We are in testing times and may never get back to how it was so any new owner needs commending for taking us on.
It’s a quandary should we take the drop and rebuild in League One
Or
Take the extra TV and any money from the sale of players and take our chance in the Championship.
It’s the lesser of 2 evils, with only weeks to go any new owner will be lucky to be at the helm for our first match
Testing times indeed for Wigan Athletic but at the end of the day as a fan who thought it was over when the blanket came round the pitch at Springfield Park,
On the radio yesterday I’m certain the administrator said the first preffered bidder was still there. They want 100 000 up front and as of yet not one bidder is prepared to pay that out. Once we know what league we are in then we could see some proper interest.
Im sure we will. Not only is the TV money stake at risk but the valuation of players needs to be taken out the hands of the administration with a quick sale.
Take Robinson, if rumours are right he can leave for £1.5million if we take the drop. A player we could get anything up to £10 million if we remain in the Championship. Same goes for Geldhart and Moore, I’m sure there would be different valuations with an owner in charge and in the Championship.
The admin need to put their hands back in their pockets for a week and take a breather.
Apparently they now have funds to see us through till the end of August

Im sure i read somewhere yesterday admin said the so called new bidder after the preferred bidder had failed had hit a snag
Really worrying times for our club
Well we’ll all soon know once this bunch of tossers give their verdict
It’s only little Wigan not Derby, Sheff Weds, Birmingham or even Bournemouth so don’t hold your breath.

By far more important is to find a buyer so we can fight another day be it in the Championship or league 1, who would want to buy a football club in times like these with no income, some money laundering Chinese perhaps !!!
