Who, in their right mind, agreed to letting a raft of Leeds fans into the Away corner of the West Stand? On a day when most latics fans (those who bothered to turn up anyway), were feeling down and out, why were the leeds fans allowed in the west stand and, at half time, were freely mixing with latics fans……..only for the good behaviour of latics fans, there could have been some very ugly scenes. For me, when your away stand is full………its full and that means no more tickets can be sold !!!!! Also, I and my family have, at the end of every season whether we are up or down…….always stayed at the end of the final game of the season to show our appreciation to the players, the manager & his backroom staff, players wives, children etc etc. Sorry!! today we just couldn’t do that!! perhaps if it had just been Dan Burn and a couple of others then yes but the majority of our players, backroom staff, management board should have let the fans parade round the pitch and they should have shown us their appreciation for putting up with such bad management decisions throughout this disastrous season. Some congratulations should perhaps go to Graeme Barrow ……the team have shown they can play better and today wasn’t too bad…..just the same shoddy mistakes and some players just not good enough. Come on Latics!! lets be professional and look forward to a good and enjoyable 2017/18 season.
7 May 2017 at 11:20 pm #158753They did come out and do a “lap of appreciation”.
If you didn’t stay for it then that’s not the club’s fault.8 May 2017 at 1:43 pm #158807It’s very easy how to stop this but I’ll explain why they don’t.
First, if the stewards spot any Leeds trying to enter the gates of any home stand refuse them. Also print on every ticket or online booking that no away supporters are allowed in the home fans ends and if found they will be ejected from the ground regardless of were they live . If they can’t be harsed reading it then tough.
The reason they don’t ?,
because it then becomes someone else’s problem on the outside of the ground. And , isn’t it funny that they were all in the West Stand ? Their must have been at least 4,000 Leeds in the West Stand but I’m basing this on Leeds been the biggest club in Europe, well that’s what they tell us with their fairy tale bloated fanbase numbers
8 May 2017 at 1:58 pm #158810The Leeds fans in the home end had purchased a hospitality option that was on sale to the Leeds fans.
It was a case of the club making hay while the sun shines, and as we can’t attract enough fans, why not?
8 May 2017 at 7:56 pm #158825Yes their was Leeds in the corporate (comfy seats at the back of the west) but all those in the far corner of the West stand didn’t, unless their corporate package included sh!t seats in the very corner of the West stand and drinking beer under the concourse at half time. Police had to keep them separated at half time
8 May 2017 at 8:07 pm #158826I think they were definitely let in so the police knew where they were as opposed to leaving them on the streets or in the town centre.
May not have happened if there was something riding on the game for us though.

Thats a tatic that rags me off, their in but wont be ejected from the ground purely because that means their wandering and not contained.
The way to try and combat this is to up the anti when their trying to get in,For any of our stewards who read this the giveaway signs are as follows;-,
Wearing Leeds colours and small pin badges,
Yorkshire accent,
Singing their bellend version of Marching on together,
Whippet or ferret on a lead
or any called “Our Judd”8 May 2017 at 11:11 pm #158840Did Leeds actuality get 5400 tickets or the usual 4800 of late. If only 4800 then the few could have been put in their own stand comfortably as an alternative to leaving them on the streets.

8 May 2017 at 11:15 pm #158842Leeds allocation was 4600 so that left 800 seats doing SFA. in the North stand.
8 May 2017 at 11:45 pm #158843Leeds allocation was 4600 so that left 800 seats doing SFA. in the North stand. There were more than enough empty seats in the away stand to accommodate the Leeds fans who were in the home end. It would’t have been too difficult to move them.
That said, why move them, they were well behaved and caused no trouble at all. I had a chat to a few at half time.
The problem, if it was a problem was caused by which ever idiot puts a limit of 4600 on a stand that holds 5400.14 May 2017 at 2:07 am #158977They didn’t cause any bother so what is the problem?
